WHO AM I?
What's up!! I'm Tri Nguyen, a combat designer with 5+ years of design experience! I've worked on multiple titles, from robots to mobile games to AAA action games, and I love solving problems within projects that push the creative boundaries of video games. My creative love lies with systems that tell a story about the characters, themes, or the medium itself.
I'm incredibly interested in philosophy and how we can apply those systems of thought into the art that we create to say something about the world we live in and how that affects that people that live in it. I feel that art can be both entertaining on a visceral level while also giving the audience stories in which to reflect on their own lives and how they can change moving forward. My main obsessions are being a gigantic reference library for teams, providing other points of reference to problems that we're facing so that we can move forward with the most context possible. I'm also very vigilant on the organization and communication of huge swaths of information, creating giant Miro boards for lore and ideas. Current Favorite Thing: Alan Wake 2 |
